Job Overview:
In this summer internship position, a Material Science Engineering student will perform general material property analysis from raw test data to material property allowables to support structural analysis.
Responsibilities:
50% Perform statistical analysis of raw test data to material property allowables. Prepare material property datasheet for documentation control in the Aerojet Documentation Management System . Transfer material properties from test reports to Excel files.
30% Coordinate test activities in the laboratories.
20% Paperless archiving of old reports.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a BS in Material Science, Materials Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering. Must be completing junior year of study. Candidate must be able to perform statistical analysis of data with Microsoft Excel. Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or other status as a U.S. Person.
