Summary: Seeking highly motivated individuals to contribute as Industrial Engineers. Specific opportunities include roles in:
Supply Chain Operations Provide critical analysis on consumables supply chain systems to optimize service level, inventory and transportation spending. Develop optimal forecasting algorithms for key supplies products. Complete pull and other optimal inventory analysis for key supplies products. Team member on strategic inventory and supply chain projects.
Materials Planning - Analyze current product configuration bills of materials and develop consolidation opportunity to simplify material handling planning and purchasing. Work in conjunction with Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt team on reducing Work-In-Process parent accounting process. Provide analysis of vendor pricing contract compared to current purchase order pricing. Develop recommendation for minimum purchase quantity to achieve lowest possible purchase price. Identify and consequential impact on inventory levels.
Manufacturing Plant/Warehouse Operations Supervision - Responsibilities include:
Coordinating work for approximately 15 employees in the Cerritos Parts and Supplies Warehouse.
Assigning work, and oversight of the end product (quality & delivery).
Coordinating training of employees.
Proficiency in the problem solving of issues involving Warehouse Management System.
Actively supervising personnel to ensure all safety and corporate policies and procedures are followed.
Process re-engineering and logistics - increase order filling process efficiency to yield productivity returns. Implement new, or streamline old business processes to increase inventory accuracy.

Manufacturing/Quality Engineer - Create/modify Supplier Quality metric reporting system databases; Manage and report the manufacturing, component, and design defects to enable proactive performance management of global suppliers. In addition, manage and report problems per hundred installs (PPHI) in the field. Essential functions include:
Reporting weekly and monthly quality results of the program, including the factory, spares, and the field. This includes weekly curves, monthly growth curves, top contributors, and the actions against them;
Driving root cause and corrective action to the problems found in the factory, spares, and the field;
Working with engineers to determine root cause and corrective action; Support development of quality metrics and plans.
Students pursuing BS, MS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or MBA with concentration in Supply Chain Management
Qualifications: Qualifications:
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, 4.0 or higher on a 5.0 scale
Multi-tasking & prioritization skills
Strong verbal & written communication skills expected

Excellent analytical ability
Statistical background or Six Sigma experience desired
