Description
SUMMARY: The intern project will include generation of requirements to manage laser configuration based laser parameters as well as design and implement a database for their management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will apply your acquired knowledge of software engineering for requirement gathering, solution development and implementation.
You will be assigned tasks and responsibilities and will be held accountable for achieving results.
You will work with a mentor in the Software Engineering team, and interact with the stakeholders to investigate, plan and execute this project.
You will adhere to Cymer’s Software Development Process.
You will present your completed work for review and will create engineering documentation for your work.
You may be assigned other duties as required. You may operate lasers and simulators. You may conduct testing and experiments in a laboratory setting and may use lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, meters, or other specialized lab equipment.

Requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Software Engineering.
Academic work in software engineering and course work or projects in database design and implementation completed or underway.
Requires experience or ability to quickly learn one or more of the following software packages: Excel, Word, Access, SQL.
The ability to work in a process driven team environment is a must.
The successful candidate must have a strong desire to learn and be successful.
