BAE Systems is looking for Entry Level Systems Engineers. The qualified candidates will support the Network Systems (NS) Line of Business in San Diego, CA on one of several Command, Control, Communications & Intelligence (C3I) business area projects. Entry level Systems Engineers will have a wide variety of tasks ranging from System (and software) Requirements Management, Concept of Operations Development, Modeling and Simulation, Information Assurance/Security, Systems Design, Network Design, System and Enterprise Architecture, COTS Hardware and System/Software Integration, System and Software Integration and Test, and Factory Acceptance Testing. The integration and test tasks involve all aspects of hardware and software integration including the planning and conduct of formal systems test activities. Systems mathematical analysis tasks include planning and performing mathematical and scientific analysis in the area of photogrammetric math models and systems modeling/simulation, algorithm development for routing of low-observable aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, precision targeting solutions for high accuracy air-to-surface weapons, etc.

Skills/Coursework:
* Industry work experience
* Modeling and Simulation/Performance Engineering/Visualization Analysis
* Requirements Definition and Analysis
* Information Assurance/Security
* Strong Math/Mathematical Analysis skills
* Knowledge of Unix/Linux and/or Windows software development environment
* UML object modeling
* DOORS knowledge and experience
* Configuration Management exposure and experience

Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering development phases and Product Life Cycle
- Excellent communication and team work skills
- Must be eligible for a Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information clearance
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Applicants selected for positions will be subjected to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
