Responsibilities
The Information Security Analyst (Intern) executes policies, tools, and processes, while building awareness to support Information Security efforts in IT and across other departments.

- basic understanding of structured data (database experience a plus)
- basic understanding of networking
- good writing and verbal skills
- scripting experience (Perl, VBScript, etc.) a plus
Expected job responsibilities:
- documentation of existing and new processes/tools
- review of periodic security-related reports, and action as appropriate
- completion of daily, weekly, or quarterly SOX controls
- detection and mitigation of security events (such as virus infection)
- development and maintenance of new or existing security tools
- coordination and cooperation with other groups to complete above tasks
