Position Duties/Responsibilities:
FIELD SUMMER/TECHNICAL
Under direct supervision, provides field support to construction,
engineering or other technical personnel by performing duties in the
areas of engineering, physical or computer science, drafting, design or
another related technical field.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Provides field assistance in engineering, construction, or other
technical functions which may include the following:
Performs drafting assignments, revises prints and prepares field
sketches.
Assists with inspection of construction work for compliance with
drawings, specifications and codes.
Assists in obtaining, compiling, and analyzing statistical data for
reports and special studies.
Performs daily detailed field engineering inspections of work for
quality and issue punch list to superintendent.
Reviews project design and engineering documents to ensure their
completeness.
Monitors the inventory of supplies and prepares material requisitions.
Assists in the application of computers to engineering or other
technical work.
Scope and assemble work packages to support field installations
Utilize the 3D model to obtain detailed information as required for
constructability
Basic Qualifications:
Skill in oral and written communication
Ability to extract, compile and analyze data for the preparation of
reports, studies and graphs
Enrolled in a degree program in engineering or other related technical
academic discipline
Right to work and remain in the U.S.
Must have a valid US Drivers License
Must be willing to work extended hours including weekends on short
notice to support project schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Bechtel Summer Hire experience desirable
