Are you looking for that industry related experience to add to your degree course work? AMO has a variety of intern roles located in our Santa Ana facility within various R & D groups.

Assist engineers by testing prototypes.
Collecting and analyzing data, developing project plans and schedules.
Drafting engineering reports.
Assigned to the insertion system product team and assist with new product development.
Become involved with R&D engineering team and work with LabView to develop test software.
Broad base exposure to system calibration, optimization engineering studies working with Femtosecond Laser Systems for corneal surgery

Qualifications

Undergraduate or Graduate Student with Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Science (electrical, mechanical, or biomedical). Exposure to test procedures a plus. LabView, Word, Excel, PowerPoint tools utilized in these roles.

Internship Details
Paid internship
Hours per week: 20-40, depending on internship
Length of internship: 8-12 weeks
Preferred Start Date: mid-May to June
Tentative End Date: late August
