This position supports various Systems Engineering aspects of the development and sustainment of those systems. Job description: We are seeking a talented, recently graduated, Systems/Electrical/Computer Science Engineer who is interested in supporting future development and enhancement of complex, software intensive, signal processing systems. This is an entry level position requiring a broad interest in SIGINT systems, aspects of which are hosted on both aircraft and ground stations. Responsibilities may include all, or a subset of, the following system engineering activities: 1.) Preparation of trade studies; 2.) Derivation and allocation of performance requirements; 3.) Architecture development and optimization; 4.) Development and integration of specialty engineering analyses associated with electromagnetic interference, system safety and airworthiness certification. The following are the basic qualifications for the position: Bachelors degree (or Masters degree) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science. The following are additional assets: MATLAB, use of Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems, interference mitigation techniques for detection and processing of RF signals, Telecommunications protocols, planning or execution of a flight test program and analysis of resulting data, PowerPC/Embedded Processors, or RF/Electromagnetics. Applicant must be a US citizen and meet ICD 704 eligibility requirements. Final grade determination will be based on qualifications of selected candidate. Defining the future.
